Joy of Spring

Painted from tulips grown in my own garden.  These harbingers of spring bring such joy with their bold color and beautiful shapes.  They set off the antique flow blue pitcher in a simple way.  I just had to paint them!

Framed in a closed corner wide dark frame with an inner gold fillet.

Juried into the Annual Exhibition at the Richmond Art Museum
