The Kananaskis

A view of the valley between mountains in the Kananaskis just south of Banff Canada.  This was a first snowfall of the season in October. The aspens still showed their golden colors against the conifers and the distant frozen river.

This painting was created from a plein air study done on site when I was painting with Fall Color Week.
