Lilacs have always been one of my favorite spring flowers. Their scent and their cascading beauty paired wonderfully with the softness and simplicity of the silver pitcher. I chose a Battenberg lace table cloth for the tabletop as the shapes in the lace echoed the form of the Lilacs and provided a bright reflection on the silver pitcher. The cobalt blue in the teacup and saucer added a nice accent in the same color family as the violets and purples.
Presented in a custom frame by Masterworks. Sicily with sgraffito liner, 14K gold in and out.
